Safety & Code of Conduct Policy

At Oro Dance Competition, the safety and well-being of all dancers, participants, staff, and attendees is our top priority. We are committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and secure environment at all of our events.

All participants, instructors, studio owners, volunteers, staff, and attendees are expected to review and follow the guidelines outlined in this policy.

Code of Conduct & Safety Guidelines

​

Respect & Behavior
All individuals must treat others with respect and professionalism. Harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

​

One-on-One Contact
Unsupervised one-on-one contact between adults and minors is strictly prohibited. Any necessary interaction must occur in an open, observable environment with appropriate supervision.

​

Youth Protection
Minors must be supervised at all times. Parents, guardians, and studio representatives are responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision of their dancers throughout the event.

Appropriate Conduct
Inappropriate physical contact, sexual language, harassment, or misconduct is strictly prohibited. The use of vulgar, obscene, or profane language or gestures is not permitted at any time during the event. All interactions and behavior must remain appropriate and consistent with a professional, family-friendly dance environment.

Dressing Room & Backstage Guidelines

​

Dressing rooms and backstage areas are designated spaces intended to provide privacy and comfort for participants. Individuals must use designated dressing areas appropriately and respectfully.

 

Access to dressing rooms should be limited to participants, instructors, and authorized personnel. Parents or guardians may assist minor participants when appropriate. No unauthorized individuals are permitted in dressing areas, and privacy must be respected at all times.

Reporting Concerns
Any concerns regarding safety, misconduct, or violations of this policy should be reported immediately to Oro Dance Competition staff. All reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly.

Acknowledgment of Policy

By registering for, participating in, or attending any Oro Dance Competition event, all individuals acknowledge that they have been informed of this Safety & Code of Conduct Policy and agree to abide by its terms.

​

Failure to comply with this policy may result in removal from the event without refund and, when necessary, further action.
